Additional event info:
Resilience hubs are trusted community facilities designed to support underserved and under-resourced populations before, during, and after environmental hazards. These hubs go beyond emergency shelter by serving as community spaces for connection, learning, and mutual support. In the face of increasingly intense and frequent extreme weather events, resilience hubs embody the strength of communities leaning on one another to overcome social, economic, and environmental challenges.
This panel discussion will highlight resilience hubs in Miami, Detroit, and Houston, showcasing their role in addressing local needs while reflecting the identity and aspirations of the communities they serve.
