APA New York Metro Chapter: MetroPlanner

MetroPlanner is the newsletter of the New York Metro Chapter of the American Planning Association. MetroPlanner is distributed to Metro Chapter members 6 times per year.

Consultant Advertisements: Please download the Consultant Advertising and Listing Form. Send your completed form and advertisement by mail or email to Mary Findlen, Chapter Administrator. If you also wish to place a listing in the online Consultant Directory, please download the Consultant Directory Listing Guide as a reference.

Address Changes: Please do not send your change of address notice to the newsletter editor or committee chairs. APA national maintains all membership records (including Chapter-only records). Reporting changes directly to the National Office will expedite the appropriate change being made. Newsletter Submissions: MetroPlanner welcomes your articles and information! Small submissions - such as job ads, announcements, and calendar items - should typically be sent no later than the first week of the month preceding the issue date. The earlier the better, to guarantee inclusion.

Individual issues are planned well in advance, so please contact the editors as early as possible if you would like to submit an article. Graphics (black and white) are always appreciated. We would also like to encourage reporting on events of interest (APA- or planning-related, local or national such as conferences, special hearings, exhibitions, etc.).

MetroPlanner has a Planners in the News column. If you have a relevant professional or personal announcement you would like to have printed in this newsletter, please contact the editor.

Please note that all accepted submissions are subject to editing for length and consistency. We print all the news that fits!
